These terms apply to all repair, maintenance and installation services provided by Northeast Catering Equipment.
Service Terms
Callout Fees
- A callout fee of $150 applies to all service visits, this fee is increased to $225 on Satudays & out of normal hours.
- A Callout fee is our minimum charge includes the first 30 minutes of labour onsite.
- Labour Rates
- Standard Hourly Rate $120
- Weekend rates / outside standard hours rates $180
- Travel
- Travel time is charge at hourly rates – where possible travel time is shared across multiple jobs.

Emergency Callouts
For urgent breakdowns outside business hours, call Mat directly on 0400 442 074.
Emergency callout rates apply (weekend/after-hours rates).
Parts
- Genuine parts are used wherever possible
- Parts are charged at cost plus margin
- Warranty on parts per manufacturer terms
- Old parts may be retained for warranty purposes
Estimates and Quotes
- Initial diagnosis is provided on site where possible
- Formal quotes can be provided for major repairs
- Quotes are valid for 14 days
- Work exceeding quoted amount will be discussed before proceeding
Payment
- Payment is due on completion of work
- We accept cash, card, EFT and cheque
- Credit accounts available for approved customers
- A 50% deposit may be required for major installations
Access and Site Requirements
- Customer must provide safe access to equipment
- Power, water and drainage must be available as required
- Customer is responsible for clearing access to equipment
- Additional charges may apply if access is restricted
Cancellations
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee
- No-show visits will be charged the callout fee
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather or emergencies
Liability
- We carry public liability insurance
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults or conditions
- We are not liable for consequential loss including lost trade
- Customer should maintain appropriate business insurance
Emergency Callouts
- Emergency callouts are available outside business hours
- After-hours rates apply
- Response times depend on technician availability
